I found the snippet below in my archives from 2020 and thought I’d share it. Finding this today provided some comfort for me, and I hope it does the same for you.
2018 proved a constant turn of events for me. What I then considered the crux of my existence – so many losses, tears, and turbulence – was also where God met me.
While stumbling through that year, little did I know the remains of my foundation were being uprooted from where I haphazardly planted it and properly replanted in His love.
I now see that it was preparation for what was to come. And though I still fumble, my foundation is rock solid.
The joy I have now was worth the pain of 2018…
And it will withstand the pain that is to come.
